V-ID Monthly: March '19
A string of good news
An update on
V-ID latest developments
We have been very busy these last months, lots of talks, leads and development going on behind the scenes, plus new organisations added to our customer base. We are actually at a stage, where companies start to reach out to us organically, who see a use for V-ID in their own field that we had not thought of before.
Here are some things we can share right now..
1. Customer Spotlight: BaanVelgen
Another company using V-ID's Blockchain Validation Tech, this time it's exclusive Ferrari, Lamborghini & Maserati performance parts dealer @Baanvelgen !
2. New Partnership: Digital Mainport
New partnership! A regional government asked us to partner with them to help their local entrepreneurs use our tech. All members will be KYC’d and Validated using advanced API’s and an embedded Verification Terminal Widget.
3. V-ID's token $VIDT listed on IDEX !
VIDT is now listed on the first exchange: IDEX, the largest decentralised exchange in the world. To trade on IDEX, you do not need to pass KYC, you can trade directly and safely from your own wallet.
IDEX is the first real-time decentralized exchange and currently the #1 dApp in the world by daily users, transactions, and volume.
To celebrate our IDEX listing we will give away a free Validation Terminal for your organization + $500 worth of $VIDT to 1 randomly winner on 3/21. To apply, follow us and RT this tweet.
4. Scaling up the business
The number of customer calls and V-ID implementations have risen dramatically as we increased our RFPs with almost 600%! We need to expand and added another new team member, Joshua Jenster, to help with scaling up V-ID's products. Joshua has extensive experience in the field of scale-ups and start-ups, and strengthens the team while refining our business - and product propositions.
And last but not least, we have a brand new commercial website at about.v-id.org!
5. New Feature: Version Management
We have a beta system running for version management with V-ID Validation. The effect is that, in case you verify a document of which a newer version exists, you will be notified, so it helps with making sure everyone is looking at the latest information. Especially useful with building specifications, medical status records or other collaborative documents.
6. GDPR & Compliance sessions
GDPR and blockchain is still a field where there are a lot of questions waiting to be answered on a legal level.
We have been working together with experts from CMS, one of the worlds' largest law firms, and IBM, among others, to explore the challenges. Read about our findings in the first article "Blockchain & Compliance".
Please keep track of the latest developments through our Twitter account, as we continue to build the company.
Have a great weekend!
